Shan Sinha
CEO & Co-Founder
Shan Sinha is the co-founder and CEO of Canopy, a company dedicated to protecting healthcare workers through its innovative IoT safety service. As a seasoned entrepreneur, he previously founded DocVerse, which was acquired by Google and became the Google Drive desktop client, and Highfive, which was acquired by Dialpad. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Shan held leadership positions focused on enterprise technologies at Microsoft, and he holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from MIT.
Vinay Pulim
CTO & Co-Founder
As a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer at Canopy, Vinay Pulim leads the product and engineering teams. He is a serial entrepreneur with a history of founding multiple companies and achieving four successful exits. Vinay is passionate about creating user-friendly, scalable products and holds a PhD in Computer Science from MIT, where his research focused on machine learning.
Hemanth Meenakshisundaram
Chief Scientist & Co-Founder
Hemanth Meenakshisundaram is a co-founder and the Chief Scientist at Canopy, where he focuses on developing innovative technology to improve the safety of healthcare workers. He has extensive experience building and shipping category-leading hardware and software systems at major technology companies, including Motorola, Amazon and Highfive. Hemanth enjoys tackling difficult technical challenges to build reliable and high-performance systems that solve meaningful, real-world problems.
Anjanette Hill Mendoza
SVP, Customer Experience
As Sr. Vice President of Customer Experience at Canopy, Anjanette Hill Mendoza oversees all post-sales teams—including Deployment, Customer Success, and Technical Account Services—to ensure healthcare organizations and users achieve meaningful, lasting value from Canopy’s safety technology. With decades of experience leading customer experience and success teams at high-growth SaaS companies like SheerID, Glassdoor, and Cisco WebEx, she has a proven track record of scaling teams and programs that foster trust, drive adoption, and deliver measurable results. Anjanette specializes in turning customers into strategic brand advocates through holistic, relationship-centered customer journeys, aligned success strategies, and a deep commitment to long-term partnership.
Jason Fass
SVP, Marketing
As the Sr. Vice President of Marketing, Jason Fass leads the go-to-market strategy for Canopy's wearable safety technology. His career includes leading product and marketing teams at both Apple and Google, where he focused on creating user-centric solutions. Previously, as CEO of Zepp Labs, Jason successfully guided the company through a period of rapid growth that culminated in a successful acquisition.
Dan Thompson
SVP, Sales
Dan Thompson is Canopy’s Senior Vice President of Sales, where he is responsible for building and scaling the company's sales organization. He is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of guiding teams through periods of rapid growth. Prior to Canopy, Dan held key sales and GTM leadership roles at companies like Greenlight Guru, Workday, and Dialpad, where he was instrumental in driving revenue growth and market expansion while creating win-win outcomes for both his teams and customers.
Oluseye Ojumu
VP, Engineering
Oluseye Ojumu is the Vice President of Engineering at Canopy, where he leads the teams responsible for building and scaling the company's complex software systems. He is a seasoned engineering leader with a wealth of experience managing high-performing teams at major technology companies. His prior leadership roles include positions at Spotify, and Yahoo, where he honed his expertise in software development and team management.
Walt Chen
Head of Finance
As the Head of Finance, Walt Chen leads financial planning, analysis, and operational strategy for Canopy. He is a dynamic finance professional with extensive experience supporting high-growth tech companies, including Mighty Networks and Highfive. Throughout his career, Walt has successfully raised multiple rounds of venture funding and streamlined financial processes by implementing key system automations.
